Funding projects

The Association of Friends is generally a forum for exchange and contact for students, graduates, business and the university. Specifically, the association supports the university where state funding is not available or not sufficient:

• scientific contacts and cooperation
• Specialist excursions for students
• Study visits abroad
• Acquisition of equipment for the sports institute
• Procurement of musical instruments, organization of concerts and rehearsal weekends of the cultural associations at Clausthal University of Technology

The Association of Friends publishes "TUContact" twice a year and sends it to every member free of charge.
It promotes young academics by awarding various sponsorship prizes and supports graduation and diploma ceremonies.
