How do I apply for funding?

Representatives of departments and recognized groups at Clausthal University of Technology are eligible to apply for project funding. The applicant or recipient of the funding must be a member of the Friends of Clausthal Association. Applications must be submitted by mail or email to the association's office no later than two months before the project start date. 

Please use the application form and submit it to the Friends of Clausthal Association:

  • By mail: Friends of Clausthal University of Technology Association, Aulastr. 8, 38678 Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany 

The board of the Friends of Clausthal Association decides on the funding of a project and the amount of funding. The applicant will receive written notification of the decision. 

Information on the accounting of funds: 

After completion of the project, copies of the original invoices (travel, accommodation, meals, and other expenses) must be submitted for the amount of the approved funding. For publication in our journal TUConntact, a report (1 to 2 pages, DIN A4, electronic transmission with 1 to 2 images) must be provided.
