The Association of Friends of Clausthal University of Technology awards an annual prize to promote young academics at Clausthal University of Technology. The prize is awarded for outstanding Bachelor's/Master's theses and dissertations at Clausthal University of Technology.

The foundations supported by the Association of Friends also promote young academics by awarding sponsorship prizes.

The prize money amounts to between 500 and 1000 EUR.
